Windmills, Ongoing

Windmills are more than just features in the landscape, they represent water, life, dreams and plenty of sheer handwork. While they are present in many of my paintings in a small way, those works where they feature strongly have been set apart in a collection of their own. It is marked as "Ongoing" because I'm far from finished painting windmills.

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners and First People of the land on which I stand, who are collectively known as the Southern Yamatji People. I pay my respects to the Elders past, present and future, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and the hopes of the Southern Yamatji People.
I would also like to specifically acknowledge the Naaguja people from amongst the collective group of Southern Yamatji People and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. The Naaguja Peoples are the Traditional Owners and First People of the place I have made my home and where I make my art.
