I acknowledge the Traditional Owners and First People of the land on which I stand, who are collectively known as the Southern Yamatji People. I pay my respects to the Elders past, present and future, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and the hopes of the Southern Yamatji People.
I would also like to specifically acknowledge the Naaguja people from amongst the collective group of Southern Yamatji People and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. The Naaguja Peoples are the Traditional Owners and First People of the place I have made my home and where I make my art.
