While the kids are watching Star Wars - again (parental torture method alert!!) I'm sitting on my big bouncy ball at my computer with my headphones on reflecting on what has been a huge week. Florence + the Machine is serenading my eardrums and there's a cup of tea on the way. Any minute now. And I need one. Because I'm sitting here all sort of flabbergasted (yet again) at how amazing and supportive everyone is whenever I pull on my big girl boots and push my art habit out there a little bit.

You are all so totally amazing and I am Just. So. Grateful.

The massive art sale for Mother's Day is kicking off tomorrow. After madly dashing around finding art, photographing art on the easel outside and chasing the sunshine around the lawn for the best light, cataloguing, promoting, and chatting with customers, I'm sitting here now in what feels like the eye of the storm.

It's a moment of total calm where I have suddenly got the time to once again be appreciative of everyone who offers encouragement, stands behind me, shares my posts on Facebook, tells their friends about  what I'm doing, makes me a cup of tea, watches me man-handle bits and pieces down the steps to the easel in the garden without telling me to do something more sensible, tells me I'm doing a good job, and is just there for me on this awesome crazy ride. You make this worth it in so many ways and I just wanted to say Thank You All.
You rock my world.
xx

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners and First People of the land on which I stand, who are collectively known as the Southern Yamatji People. I pay my respects to the Elders past, present and future, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and the hopes of the Southern Yamatji People.
I would also like to specifically acknowledge the Naaguja and Wilunya people from amongst the collective group of Southern Yamatji People and pay my respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. The Naaguja and Wilunya Peoples are the Traditional Owners and First People of the place I have made my home and where I make my art.
