School holidays always mean things get a little bit structureless and free-flowing. Which this week means, among other things, that the Monday Blog Post is happening on a Wednesday.
Last week was one incredible, feral, crazy ride, full of art, laughs, gasp moments and some grown up choices - choices I'm still not sure I'm actually qualified to make, being only 32 and 11 months old ands not nearly ready to be a bonafide grown up yet. But, they had to be made, so I've made them.
The week started with a school camp - more to the point me doing charcoal drawing in the bush with 200 kids over 4 days. Things spiced up with some order deliveries, some visual diary work and a job interview for a part time grown up person job. Yep. Three days a week I'll be working for the man, in a manner of speaking, as all the lovely people above me are women. (How cool is that?!) It's a big gardening job which I'm super excited about, gardening being my other passion and all.
Let me tell you right now, I hit the weekend, also the start of school holidays, like a tonne of bricks. Luckily for me the power was out yesterday so we had an enforced slow-down day, which was just . . . deep breath in and slowly release . . . lovely.
In other news, I still can't upload photos, but I'm hoping with all my might that my new internet is coming REALLY soon to save the day. And my colouring book is going to be launched extra triple double soon!!! So there's still heaps going on and forward steps being taken. Accountability is going ok, and also needs some tweaking, which mainly involves my being disciplined.
Another week bites the dust. We're halfway through the year already and my goodness it's been awesome. Pretty excited for the next half.
